There is truth in the label!

The rubber and oil palm estates in which we ride in are never short of mosquitos, and there has not been anything more effective than Mosi-guard! It works really well, but be careful of it making contact with your eyes and lips. A small amount on your bite valve can cause quite a tingle!

But there is an added surprise to this liquid elixir, it kills leeches dead! It does quite a good job repelling them, and if they do get onto you, one good spray and they immediately let go, curl up and die. No more bringing dangerous stuff like salt and lighters.

Taman Tasik Semenyih Hash, 05 Nov 2006 | Album

Veron, Shi Fun and Eric joins the Nov bike hash back to a location in which we had not ridden for quite some time. The long ride was totally enjoyable except for that killer hill.
Tasik Biru Ride, Kundang

There has been a lot of development happening around Tasik Biru. Note: SUVs with bike racks on the top, beware of the bar installed to keep heavy trucks is also too low for your car and bikes to clear it. The old spots where you can park under the shade is now blocked off with road barricades. However, there are a few breaks that will still allow you to park near the lake edge. Once past the KL Kepong estates, you will now be blocked by barb wire fencing from getting into the ajoining estate. You can always slip under the wire, but be prepared for a hot ride as much of the old palm trees have been felled for their replanting efforts - Nov 07

Ulu Yam Ride, Ulu Yam

Our home turf and favorite stomping ground. The asphalt has been extending further from our usual start point and now reaches 100 meters from the peak of the first ascend. It does make the first huff and puff hill a lot easier than it used to be, but somehow, a lot less fun. The cement bridge crossing to the activity camp is now seriously blown out at the end. Slow down at the bridge and be prepared to do some serious bike carrying - Dec 07
